Salehi addressed the opening of an international conference on “The School of Nasrallah”, which was launched in Tehran on Saturday morning, marking the 40th day after the martyrdom of the former Hezbollah secretary general.

Nasrallah was a man of tolerance, mercy, and compassion, he said, adding that Nasrallah was both an idealist and a realist.

He would move toward the peak of ideals and at the same pay attention to the realities on the ground, Salehi stated.

He also referred to Nasrallah as an analyst and strategist, a comprehensive politician at the national, regional and international levels, and a military commander.

There are few individuals who can be both a prominent politician and a distinguished military commander like Nasrallah was, he underlined.

He knew both the hard power and the soft power as well as media and public diplomacy and used them, the culture minister stated.

He went on to say that despite the martyrdom of Nasrallah, Hezbollah will remain firm and steadfast.

Sayed Hassan Nasrallah was martyred in a massive airstrike that Israel launched on southern Beirut on September 27 using American-supplied bunker-buster bombs.

Israel’s attacks come against the backdrop of escalated tensions between the Lebanese resistance movement and the occupying entity, which included the targeted killing of top Hezbollah commanders and the detonation of telecommunication devices belonging to the Muslim resistance group.

Israel has been targeting Lebanon since October 7 last year, when it launched a genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah has been responding to the aggression with numerous retaliatory operations, including one with a hypersonic ballistic missile, targeting the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Lebanese resistance movement has vowed to keep up its operations against Israel as long as the Israeli regime continues its Gaza war.
